Name:          Yangchin Lhamu

Grade:          Nursery

Age :            7

Gender:        Female

This girl was orphaned at the age of five. Her father died when she was just a small baby and she lost her mother to an illness two years ago. After the death of her mother the girl stayed with her brother who is married and has his own children to look after.

Yangchin has one elder brother and an elder sister; both of them are married. She is the youngest in the family.

His brother, having his own children and out of weak financial condition, expressed his inability to look after the girl. He requested Lama Thupten Phuntsok, Founder of Manjushree Vidyapith Orphanage to take the girl into the orphanage. Lama Thupten after understating the condition of her brother took the girl into the orphanage for upbringing and education.

Now she is a very healthy girl with a beautiful smile. She doesn’t talk much but it does not mean that she is weak in her studies. Her less talking nature is very well compensated by her beautiful and continous smile. She is very good in her studies.

She likes to play skipping. She wants to become a teacher.
